Job Description The Sales Representative, Flavors and Next Generation Products will have the exciting opportunity to build new distribution for our portfolio of products. We will provide category and sales training, providing an excellent opportunity both professionally and financially for an aggressive and professional early-career sales person.
This position will require development of an account base by developing a target list, prioritizing opportunities, and cold calling, both in person and on the phone. With a combination base salary and benefit package, this position will have excellent earnings potential for an aggressive sales person.
Responsibilities With direction from the Manager you will develop, implement and lead the business development strategy including sales, distribution and customer satisfaction to drive the growth and profitability of the company
Grow national and global sales of our portfolio Flavor and E-Liquid products and services.
Provide detailed sales plans and forecasts on a very regular basis to executive management
Construct Strategic Plans for long term growth opportunity
Develop Budgets for Sales Department
Determine and monitor key performance indicators such as revenue vs. plan, contact rate and gross profit percentage
Identify and develop distribution channels
Assess market needs and generate product requirements and definition for development
Monitor and evaluate sales and distribution trends for different markets, carrying out marketing analyses to identify potential opportunities
Build long-term collaborative relationships with distribution & retailer partners
Clearly express the value proposition of the products
Develop lead generation and revenue generation programs
Understand and stay current on industry trends and current and future competitive landscape
Provide executive engagement and thought-leadership to build and maintain relationships
Thrive on challenges and opening new markets to deliver results
Maintain and Build relationships with key vendors
Evaluation of new sales channel opportunities and "proof of concept" on new sales programs
Present solutions and financials to customers and potential customers, and negotiate win-win outcomes.
Mine sales data to identify incremental opportunities and build category expertise across all channels.
Qualifications Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, with strong emotional intelligence.
Strong oral, written and visual communication skills.
Strong computer skills, with ability to independently build sales decks and collateral in PowerPoint.
Foundational financial understanding to provide customers with financial benefits of proposed plans.
A desire to learn and build your skills as we develop an industry-leading sales force.
Aggressive self-starter, driven to succeed, and excited by closing the sale.
