Position SummaryA leading residential and commercial security company is seeking a Security Systems Installer to join its Installation team. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and servicing of security and alarm systems, ensuring high-quality, on-time project completion and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and service intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and specialty security systemsProgram alarm panels for both local and central station systemsRead and interpret scope of work, blueprints, installation manuals, and work ordersCoordinate with customers on system needs and support add-on opportunitiesTrack and document labor hours, materials, mileage, and job detailsLead and support helper installers, ensuring quality and productivity standards are metTroubleshoot and resolve system issues; perform modifications and upgrades as neededMaintain accurate records of all installation and service work performedEnsure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and company vehicleFollow all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company proceduresCollaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scopeQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)Minimum 1+ year of experience installing security/alarm systemsExperience with intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systemsRequired certification through Department of Consumer AffairsFire/Life Safety training (as applicable)Basic understanding of computer hardware and network systemsStrong ability to read technical documents and communicate effectively with customers and teamsSkills & AbilitiesKnowledge of alarm systems, installation techniques, and troubleshootingAbility to work independently and manage multiple installationsStrong communication and customer service skillsBasic math and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to adapt to new tools, technologies, and software systemsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork performed in residential homes, commercial sites, construction environments, and outdoorsAbility to climb ladders, work in confined spaces/attics, and lift up to 75 lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and use of tools/equipmentExposure to varying weather conditionsAbility to work extended hours and participate in an on-call rotationLocal travel required using a company vehicleWhat’s OfferedStable, growing company with a strong project pipelineOpportunities for advancement and hands-on trainingCompetitive compensation and benefits #INMAR2026
