You will own end-to-end engineering initiatives, drive strategic cost and service improvements, and act as a subject matter expert across multiple customers and verticals. You will partner with commercial, operations, and senior leadership to develop scalable, data-driven solutions, support large RFQs and solution design, and ensure alignment with DSV’s long-term growth strategy.Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design of complex logistics solutions (multi-modal, multi-node networks)Own engineering workstreams for large-scale RFQs and strategic accountsServe as technical SME during customer engagements, solution presentations, and implementationsDrive network optimization initiatives (transport, warehouse, inventory positioning)Build and validate cost models, pricing assumptions, and scenario analysesLead cross-functional project teams (Ops, IT, Commercial, Finance)Mentor and guide junior logistics engineersDefine and standardize engineering methodologies, tools, and templatesIdentify and implement automation, digitalization, and advanced analytics opportunitiesEngage in continuous improvement at a network/portfolio level, not just project levelInfluence senior stakeholders and support strategy developmentEducational Background / Work ExperienceA bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.A master's degree in a related field is preferred.7–10+ years in logistics engineering / supply chain design.Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects end-to-end.Skills & CompetenciesAbility to translate business strategy into supply chain designStrong stakeholder management (internal + external)Executive level communication and presentation skillsAdvanced modeling (network optimization, cost-to-serve)Scenario modeling and sensitivity analysisStrong financial acumen (margin, pricing, ROI)Advanced proficiency in (SQL, Python (or similar analytics tools) and Visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI)Network design toolsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldExperience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologiesCertification in supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCMPExperience in logistics operations or managementLanguage SkillsFluency in English (written and verbal). Fluency in additional languages is a plusComputer LiteracyProficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau, is required. Experience with process modeling and simulation software, such as Arena or FlexSim, is a plus.For this position, the expected base pay range is $90,000.00 - $112,000.00.
