Now Hiring: CNC Swiss Machinist (Full-Time) THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN RURAL SDAs a CNC Swiss Machinist, you'll be the heartbeat of our precision machining operation, working with Swiss Screw machines. You'll collaborate with engineering, tooling, and leadership to ensure our components meet exacting standards. This role also supports broader machining needs with mills, grinders, saws, and lathes.Day-to-Day ImpactProgram, set up, and run Swiss-style CNC machinesPerform quality checks using precision inspection toolsSet up machines and perform first article inspectionsApply advanced math like geometry and trigonometry to maintain accuracyInterpret complex blueprints with GD&T specsKeep your area clean and organized in line with 5S practicesProactively report nonconformance and help resolve issuesRecommend improvements for quality, safety, cost, and efficiencySupport additional CNC work using lathes, mills, grinders, and sawsParticipate in internal audits and continuous improvement effortsPerform light maintenance and tool/die workRequiredWhat You Bring to the Table:High school diploma or GED2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of CNC machining experience3+ years of Swiss machining (Tsugami preferred)CAM experience (GibbsCAM a plus)Proficiency in G & M codeAbility to interpret blueprints and safety/maintenance instructionsPreferredStrong problem-solving mindsetTeam-first attitude with multitasking skillsEagerness to keep learning and adapting to new techWhat To Expect On The JobHands-on, standing work with frequent use of handsOccasional sitting, walking, and reachingVisual focus, depth perception, and fine adjustments neededNo travel requiredMachine shop environment with exposure to noise and temperature changesPPE provided and required where neededJoin a skilled, precision-focused team where craftsmanship meets innovation.
