Here you will co-manage a large book of business while maintaining and growing your own book. You will serve as UHNW clients’ main point of contact and have primary responsibility to clients.The RM tailors services to existing clients and prospective clients by fully understanding the client/family goals and current/future objectives. This role provides centralized oversight of all Fiduciary Trust services, including execution and implementation, allowing for a seamless client experience. The Relationship Manager works in conjunction with all professionals involved in the relationship, including the client’s external advisors, to help achieve goals.In This Position, You Will:Coordinate all aspects of the client relationship, including: speaking regularly with UHNW clients and providing guidance to in house Trust Officers, Investment Team, Tax team, and Trust Counsel.Maintain And Grow Your Book Of BusinessDevelop and maintain private client relationships, demonstrating your knowledge of estate, tax, and financial planning concepts as it applies to the particular clientUnderstand client / family goals and objectives, delivering appropriate solutionsEngage in new business prospect meetingsResponsibilities:Develop and maintain client relationships while providing education:Consult with clients to identify goals and objectives, including income, transfer of wealth, etc.Coordinate with PMs and other teammates to measure Family risksEnsure all areas of Fiduciary Trust’s expertise are leveraged as necessaryCoordinate Family meetings, understand Family dynamics and work across generationsFacilitate long-term Family educationInteract with clients and prospects and independently handle deliverablesIdentify and secure new business opportunitiesRelationship Level ReportingProvide master custody servicesCoordinate consolidated reportingCoordinate with PM on investment performance analysisOversight of external assets or non-managed assetsLife Stage PlanningCoordinate gift and estate planning strategies with advisorsProvide advice for retirement planning and philanthropic planning; implementation of charitable strategiesProvide insurance reviews and partner with insurance experts on client needsFamily Office and Fiduciary AdministrationDay to day administrative tasks including correspondence, creation of presentations, special projects, etc.Liquidity AnalysisCreate lifestyle analysis as requested (analyze cash flow needs and budget preparation; prepare balance sheet; prepare and analyze wealth projections)Tax PlanningCoordinate with internal tax accountants and consultants; coordinate annual gifting to individuals and charitiesDevelop strategies to maximize after tax returnsEstate PlanningCoordinate preparation of GRAT’s, ILITs, QPRT’s, CLUT’s and CRUT’sCoordinate preparation & amendment of willsCoordinate creation of revocable trusts/irrevocable trustsCoordinate preparation of and discuss estate flow chartsInvestment ManagementWork with Portfolio Manager and SAG to coordinate timeliness of completing matters pertaining to outside Investments, including Hedge Funds/Private EquityQualifications:4 - 6 years' experience in Relationship Management role; must have ample client facing experience within the financial services industryCFP preferred; CTFA optionalTrust knowledgeTax background helpfulAdditional Desirable QualificationsCan manage large and complex accounts independentlyStrong understanding and basic knowledge of competitorsTrust Administration background and knowledge preferred; ability to review and interpret trust languageStrong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle client account informationStrong analytical skills with the ability to think strategicallySelf-starter with the ability to be persistent in solving problemsAbility to practice good judgment while making basic business decisionsAbility to represent the Company at professional and business functions in a competent mannerAbility to travel to various customer and vendor locationsLearn More: Click below to learn more about Fiduciary Trust –Fiduciary Trust InternationalThe Story of Fiduciary Trust InternationalFranklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary — designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
