Technician C Requisition Number: 7787 Location: Myrtle Beach Position Type: Full-Time Regular Unit Number - Unit Name: 67321 - DISTRIBUTION METERING FIELD Experience Required: See Position Requirements Education Required: High School Diploma/GED Recruiting Start Date: Sep 30, 2024 Recruiting End Date: Oct 18, 2024 Job Posting: Internal and External Position Description Assists Technicians A and B with the installation and maintenance of instrument metering to ensure accurate and reliable metering for our customers and Santee Cooper. Ensures the customer and Santee Cooper receive accurate and reliable measurement of electrical energy through instrument metering. Essential Job Tasks: Assists with installation and maintenance of all instrument rated meters. Assists with connection of the secondary side of three phase, padmount transformers. Assists in changing out meters in the field that are due for testing or need to be reprogrammed. Assists with analyzing services to detect low power factor. Verifies correct installation of instrument and self-contained watt-hour meters and recording installations. Position Requirements Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred. High School Diploma/GED required. Compensation Information: $21.10 - $26.35 (min.-mid.)
