Production Manager - $95k - $110k + bonus - Pasco, WAI'm working with a well-established fertilizer and soil manufacturer based in Washington State to find an experienced Production Manager for their facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and knows how to get the best out of both people and processes.The RoleYou'll take full ownership of day-to-day manufacturing operations — from scheduling and inventory through to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You'll lead a team of supervisors and production staff, manage supplier relationships, and work closely with R&D, logistics, and sales to keep production aligned with customer demand. Budget responsibility comes with the territory.What You'll Be DoingRunning production scheduling and raw material/finished goods inventoryLeading, coaching and developing your supervisory teamDriving quality assurance to meet both internal and customer standardsOwning safety protocols and regulatory compliance across the facilityIdentifying and implementing process improvements and cost efficienciesPartnering with R&D on new product development and existing product improvementManaging equipment maintenance and capital upgradesBuilding and maintaining strong supplier and industry partnershipsAligning output with logistics and sales to hit delivery commitmentsWhat We're Looking ForDegree in Agricultural Science, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline5+ years in fertilizer production, composting, pellet mill or comparable manufacturing3+ years in a people leadership roleSolid understanding of both organic and synthetic fertilizer productionComfortable with production management software and QC systemsA track record of driving efficiency gains and reducing costsBonus Points ForPostgraduate qualification in a relevant fieldLean manufacturing experienceProduction management or QA certificationsEnglish/Spanish bilingual skillsBackground in sustainable agricultureIf this sounds like your next move, drop me a message or apply directly.
