1998 Senior Business Immigration ParalegalWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to join a dynamic and fast-paced legal practice. This hybrid opportunity is based in the Detroit metropolitan area.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys with the preparation and filing of employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant matters, including H-1B, TN, E-2, L-1, PERM applications, employment-based preference petitions, adjustment of status applications, and consular processing mattersDemonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and strategic thinking in handling case assignmentsIdentify, troubleshoot, and escalate potential case-related issues when appropriateMaintain consistent and timely communication with clientsUpdate and manage case management systems while tracking client status updates and critical filing deadlinesPrepare and assist with Requests for Evidence (RFE) responsesProvide additional administrative and case support duties as neededQualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:A bachelor’s degree5–6+ years of experience handling complex employment-based immigration matters in a paralegal capacityAt least 3 years of hands-on PERM experience, including all stages of the processExperience working with immigration case management software; familiarity with INSZoom is a plusExposure to family-based immigration matters is preferredCompensation & BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Paid time offComprehensive medical, dental, and life insurance optionsHealth Savings Account (HSA) optionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Short-term and long-term disability coverage401(k) retirement plan with employer contributionsFamily leave benefits for both mothers and fathersCareer development and advancement opportunitiesAnnual performance evaluationsOpportunities for community involvement and engagement
