The Brand Account Manager - Beauty and Personal Care is responsible for managing Univar Solutions' relationship with independent Brands (headquartered in North America). The role will create and implement technical and innovation strategies that drive sales growth of key focus ingredients.What youll do:Penetrate and grow project driven salesProvide Indie Brands, access to key suppliers, technical and lab supportWork with consultants/formulators to define trends and create winning value propositions for key stakeholders in this spaceWork with Regional Beauty and Personal Care Brands to increase our sales pipeline with contract manufacturersBuild and maintain a strategic brand owner pipeline that is aligned with key supplier objectivesWhat youll need:Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or similar and demonstrated experience in a related technical fieldSuccessful experience (5 years minimum) in Beauty and Personal Care Sales, Marketing, or product development. Product Formulation experience preferred.Availability to travel and visit customers on a regular basisDemonstrated business development skills to generate growthAbility to work across boundaries and drive complex partnerships particularly through New Business DevelopmentStrong organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex situations and multi-task responsibilities.Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with all levels of people in the organization.Strong verbal and written communication skillsExperience in establishing strong customer relationships and in negotiating with senior business managersHigh level of decision-making expertise, balancing customer needs with company requirements.PC literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesforceWhere youll work: Home-based opportunity for candidates based in New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania.Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
