Summary:We are partnering with a growing, entrepreneurial law firm to appoint a Commercial Real Estate Attorney to play a key role in the expansion of its commercial practice.This is an opportunity for an experienced attorney to step into an active client base, take ownership of complex transactions, and help build and shape a high-performing team.This role is best suited to a commercially minded real estate attorney looking to move beyond a purely execution-focused position and into a role offering greater ownership, client exposure, and long-term upside.The Opportunity:Immediate access to an established and active client baseSignificant autonomy and ownership over your workA platform to build and grow a team / practiceClear path toward long-term leadership and partnershipCollaborative, growth-oriented environment without the constraints of larger institutionsLocation:This role will ideally be based in Greenville, SC, with flexibility to be based in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.The Role:You will work directly with firm leadership on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, with the autonomy to run transactions and develop client relationships.Key responsibilities include:Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions from start to finish, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financingsStructure and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, and joint venture arrangementsServe as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering practical, commercially focused adviceSupervise and mentor junior attorneys and paralegalsContribute to the continued growth of the commercial practice through client development and relationship managementCandidate Profile:We are seeking an attorney who combines strong technical ability with commercial awareness and a desire to take on a more entrepreneurial role.Requirements:6+ years of experience in commercial real estate lawProven ability to run transactions independentlyExperience supervising junior team members or managing deal teamsStrong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing skillsConfident, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomyPreferred (not required):Background with a top-tier or well-regarded regional law firmExposure to business development or client relationship managementLicensure in one or more Southeastern statesCompensationCompetitive base salary and performance-based bonus structure, with meaningful upside tied to contribution and client development.
