Emergency Medicine Technician
A services organization in Thornton, Colorado, is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their Workplace Health & Safety team. In this role, the Emergency Medicine Technician will be responsible for providing medical assistance and engaging in various safety operations.About the Opportunity:Shift: NightsSchedule: 4 shifts per weekHours: 6pm to 4:30amSetting: Occupational Health Responsibilities:Providing first aid and making medical referrals, as necessaryReducing injury risk through education and proactive measuresMaintaining records of care and coordinating workers' compensation programsEngaging with employees and leadership to promote safe work habitsParticipating in training and maintaining first aid, CPR, and AED credentialsPerforming other duties, as needed Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDEMT / Paramedic certification, Military Medic experience, and/or Athletic Trainer certificationValid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationKnowledge of OSHA regulationsProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work in a team environment Desired Qualifications:Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED trainingExperience with Industrial Wellness programsExperience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders and ErgonomicsKnowledge of Workers Compensation processesProficiency in Digital Record Keeping
