Role Summary Our Suffolk, VA facility is looking for a talented Forklift Operator to become part of our energetic crew. We are searching for a driven professional who prioritizes safety and operational excellence to help us manage and transport materials with precision. Core Duties Utilize forklifts and related machinery to relocate, position, and organize inventory. Manage the loading and unloading of freight from containers and trucks to support seamless supply chain movement. Perform regular equipment checks and notify management immediately regarding any necessary repairs. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the warehouse tidy and orderly. Work alongside colleagues to optimize daily workflows and meet project deadlines. Support accurate inventory tracking by logging all material movements correctly. Engage in ongoing professional development to sharpen your technical expertise in equipment operation. Required Qualifications Completion of secondary education or a GED is preferred. Possession of an active forklift operator license. Demonstrated history of driving forklifts within industrial or warehouse facilities. Maintain a high level of accuracy and a strong dedication to workplace safety standards. Capable of performing manual labor and lifting heavy items as needed. Foster positive team dynamics through clear and effective communication. Utilize foundational computer knowledge to assist with reporting and inventory tasks.
