Machine Learning Engineer (Short-Term Contract)

We’re a startup building custom ML models to detect if someone has been modified or retouched in a video, and our roadmap includes advancing toward detecting AI-generated video content. We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join on a short-term paid contract basis, with the potential for a longer-term. What you’ll do Analyze and understand our current ML models and pipeline. Run and validate existing models autonomously.Update and refine current ML models. Support backend integration (e.g., APIs) and AWS deployment where needed. Mandatory qualifications Strong background in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Understand the fundamentals of image processing. Hands-on experience with PyTorch. Solid software engineering skills (backend development, APIs, etc.). Experience with AWS (especially serverless frameworks). Expected duration of contract is 4 weeks. The candidate must reside in Canada or the United States.
