Director of Business Development
Role: Business Development Director – Chemicals Location: Houston, TX Role & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering sales revenue from our portfolio of offerings to clients and prospects in the assigned region. Must be capable of regional and national travel to support Target Account sales.Possesses excellent interpersonal skills including strong self-motivation, focus and passion for the sales process and service to customers.Must be passionate toward building strong customer relationships and have a proven ability to prosecute and close new business.Achieves and exceeds revenue quota targets by winning new contracts and orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.Identifies and qualifies legitimate sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships. Negotiates contractual terms and conditions and works with the proposal and technical teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and builds a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.Maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients continuously assessing and communicating how LTTS can meet their needs.Develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients.Candidate Profile15+ years of total experience with at least 5 years of domain experience.Experience in Chemicals segment in US.Extensive experience selling programs or services, NOT product sales.Must have experience in similar role for atleast 5+ years.A Collaborative spirit and flexible approach to salesSound business judgment, analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.Experience working within a high-growth, technology company with the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quicklyHighly organized, multi-tasking skills, take ownership and be efficient in ambiguous situationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with deep experience presenting to senior management. Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-value deals with a C-level audience and positively influence the outcomeWillingness to travel Minimum QualificationsCandidates should have sold to Chemicals Operator companiesExpertise in Selling engineering and technology servicesExperience winning brownfield projects execution bidsExposure to Digital services – Control and Automation, Data Analytics, System Integration will be a plus.Exposure to Global delivery model is a plus.
