Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer - CNC Milling/Turning

*Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Milling/Turning* *Solmac is a customer-driven Precision CNC Machining Facility that provides expert machining services.* *WE ARE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS TO GROW OUR TEAM.* *In this position, you will be responsible for:* * Preparing detailed manufacturing instructions and programming data to produce machined parts and sub-assemblies to meet customer supplied drawings and specifications. * Establish tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to machine parts and sub-assemblies for customer supplied drawings. * Spend time on the production floor solving problems and improving processes. * Working effectively with team members. * Support timely and efficient processing of parts through the shop. * Review drawings and make suggestions for changes and revisions to enhance producibility of machined parts. * Assist machinists with program prove out. * Establish standard times for setup and run of each operation on machined parts. * Following up on jobs during the initial stage of manufacturing to ensure processing and effect revisions to tooling and processing as necessary. *Required Qualifications:* * B.S. Degree (ME or IE) with up to one year experience in machine shop practices or 3 years experience as an ACD Associate Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer (or equivalent training and experience). * Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, energetic and self-starter * Strong organizational skills * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Lancaster, NY 14086: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
