Logistics Coordinator

Logistics CoordinatorLHH Recruitment is working with a 3PL/logistics company near Mesa who is in search of a logistics coordinator to join their team. This job is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, fully onsite. The hourly rate is between $24/hr-$26/hr. This role is responsible for coordinating daily freight movements, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining strong communication with carriers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both LTL and OTL shipments and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule LTL and OTL shipments Communicate with carriers, drivers, and warehouses to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading Maintain accurate records in internal systems and update shipment statuses Collaborate with internal departments such as customer service, operations, and inventory teams Negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions Monitor carrier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships Qualifications: 2+ years of logistics coordination experience required Prior experience with LTL and OTL shipping is required Strong understanding of transportation processes and freight terminology Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and logistics/ERP systems Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Cassandra Nienow Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
