HBOT Technician (Gun Hill)

Job DescriptionHBOT Technician is responsible for ensuring patients are receiving treatment using a hyperbaric oxygen therapy machine. As a HBOT technician, your duties include scheduling patients for HBOT machine usages and noting treatments in their medical charts.Duties:Receive referral for HBOT or review progress sheets for referrals from drive.Ensure referral is completed properly/ rescan if necessary.Contact patient and schedule HBOT evaluation to see if patient is a candidate for treatment.If candidate, explain HBOT treatment in detail and advise patient of any changes that couldaffect treatment.Make sure patients sign evaluation form, file and scan accordingly.Monitor patients and control the pressure inside a hyperbaric chamber.After each treatment ensure chamber is clean and pillow cases are changed.Deep clean chamber weeklyManage and update HBOT spreadsheet- ALL referrals go onto spreadsheet.
