Lake Charles, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the transformation and build-out of its finance function. This is a critical executive hire for a high-growth, private equity-backed organization, positioned to professionalize financial operations and enable scalable growth. The CFO will serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and private equity sponsor, while remaining hands-on and execution-oriented in building infrastructure, systems, and teams from the ground up.Essential DutiesLead and oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, and corporate back-office functionsServe as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO and private equity stakeholdersDesign and implement monthly close, financial reporting, and performance management processesBuild job-level and project-based financial visibility, including WIP reporting, forecasting, and productivity metricsDrive improved cash management, budgeting, and forecasting disciplinesEstablish internal controls, compliance frameworks, and financial governance standardsReplace reliance on external resources by building internal capabilities and bench strengthEvaluate, select, and implement ERP or financial systems to support scalable growthDevelop and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting teamSupport strategic initiatives including service expansion, cross-selling strategies, and operational scalabilityContribute to M&A evaluations, integrations, and growth capital deployment as neededRequirements / SkillsCPA required with a Bachelor's degree in AccountingProgressive leadership experience in public accounting and corporate finance roles (Controller to CFO progression preferred)Proven experience building and scaling finance, accounting, and back-office functions from the ground upExperience as a finance leader within industrial, field-service-based, or asset-intensive businessesStrong operational mindset with the ability to influence executive leadership and field operationsDemonstrated success in private equity-backed environments preferredExperience leading ERP or financial system implementations strongly preferredM&A integration experience is a plusAbility to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsExperience operating effectively in both large, well-resourced organizations and lean, privately held or PE-backed businessesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerAbility to travel as needed to support field operations and strategic initiativesAbility to attend on-site meetings and operational reviews as requiredEqual Opportunity Statement*Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
