Synthetic Chemist – High Throughput Experimentation📍 Upper Providence / Collegeville, PA | Onsite💲 $58.00 – $66.00/hour | Long-Term Contract OpportunityNo third-party agencies please.Alphanumeric is hiring Synthetic Chemists to support our long-standing client, a global biopharmaceutical organization committed to advancing science and improving patient outcomes.This opportunity supports a cutting-edge Predictive Synthesis team focused on high-throughput nano-scale chemistry experimentation in a fast-paced laboratory environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute nano-scale high-throughput synthetic chemistry experimentsGenerate, analyze, and document experimental data in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN)Operate laboratory automation platforms such as Mosquito, Bravo, and/or TecanPrepare analysis plates and support LCMS workflowsParticipate in scientific discussions and Predictive Synthesis team meetingsSupport laboratory operations including consumable management, lab organization, and equipment issue reportingEnsure all work is performed in accordance with safety, workflow, and data integrity standardsQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline3+ years of experience in synthetic chemistry, preferably within high-throughput or nano-scale experimentation environmentsExperience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or advanced academic laboratory settingsFamiliarity with laboratory automation systems preferred (Mosquito, Bravo, Tecan)Experience with ELN platforms and scientific data documentationStrong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsPreferred ExperienceHigh-throughput experimentation workflowsSpotfire or scientific data analysis toolsACD Katalyst or similar ELN systemsSupporting fast-paced discovery or predictive chemistry programsThis is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative scientific team supporting advanced chemistry workflows in a highly collaborative environment.
