Our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction has positioned us as a preferred partner for next-generation network deployments.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled RF Optimization Engineer with hands-on experience working on Ericsson networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performance optimization, KPI improvement, troubleshooting, and supporting network enhancements for LTE and 5G systems. This role will be based out of our Allen, TX office.Key Responsibilities:Perform RF optimization for Ericsson LTE/5G RAN networks, focusing on KPI performance, capacity improvement, and end-user experience.Analyze drive test and OSS data to identify issues and implement corrective actions.Optimize parameters, handovers, neighbor relations, carrier aggregation, beamforming, and other Ericsson-specific features.Work closely with RF Design, Integration, and Performance teams to ensure network quality and stability.Troubleshoot coverage, interference, and throughput issues using Ericsson tools and industry-standard software.Conduct pre/post-launch optimization, market audits, and cluster-level tuning.Prepare reports, recommendations, and documentation for internal teams and customers.Support special events, performance escalations, and capacity planning initiatives as required.Required Skills & Experience:Hands-on experience with Ericsson RAN equipment and optimization workflows.Strong knowledge of LTE/VoLTE/5G NR KPIs, counters, parameters, and troubleshooting methodologies.Experience with Ericsson tools such as ENM, PCE, OSS, and optimization platforms.Proficiency with drive test tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo) and post-processing software (e.g., Actix, TEMS Discovery).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting major U.S. carriers (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T).Familiarity with scripting, automation, or data analytics tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.Experience with parameter tuning and 5G feature optimization on Ericsson networks.Why Join GCB?20+ years of trusted service to major U.S. wireless operatorsExposure to large-scale, high-impact optimization projectsCollaborative, growth-focused engineering environmentOpportunity to work with cutting-edge 5G technologies and Ericsson features
