The group operates within the Metals Processing Group of The Heico Companies, LLC and is recognized for operational excellence, responsive service, and strong manufacturing capabilities.Position OverviewDavis Wire is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and strengthen our safety culture within a manufacturing environment. This role leads EHS programs, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance. The EHS Manager maintains a visible presence on the production floor and works closely with leadership, supervisors, employees, and corporate EHS teams. Reporting to the Facility VP / General Manager.Safety LeadershipSafety is a top priority.Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programsPromote proactive safe work practices, fire prevention, and emergency responseMaintain a strong presence on the production floor conducting inspections and identifying hazardsLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsPartner with HR on workers’ compensation and related insurance mattersMaintain safety records and required regulatory reportingEnvironmental ComplianceManage environmental programs including waste stream management (RCRA/DOT), manifests, labeling, and wastewater treatmentConduct environmental inspections and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulationsComplete and submit environmental reports to regulatory agenciesMonitor wastewater treatment and acid recovery systemsApply basic chemistry principles including pH, acids, and basesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety, or related field10+ years industrial EHS experience5+ years in an EHS leadership role preferredStrong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulationsExperience with incident investigations and regulatory reportingStrong leadership, analytical, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookEHS certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM) is a plusAuthorized to work in the United StatesMust pass background, drug/alcohol, and physical screeningCompensationSalary Range: Competitive and commensurate with experience.EEO/F/M/V/D
