As an SBA-certified HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), we deliver quality, professional services to support the missions and strategic business goals of our clients.Location: Baltimore, MD (Baltimore Central Booking Intake Facility)Category: Health CareEssential Functions, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesPhysical Examinations: Performing comprehensive physical examinations.Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnosing and treating illnesses.Medication Management: Prescribing, administering, and dispensing medication.Patient Education and Counseling: Educating inmates about treatment plans, illness prevention, and other health-related topics.Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records.Collaboration: Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.Ensuring Safety and Security: Maintaining security of the facility along with other correctional staff.Familiarity with NextGenPhysical and Environmental ConditionsThe work entails the performance of physical activities including walking, standing, bending, stooping, and sitting.Essential Skills and QualificationsAdvanced clinical assessment skills and strong medical knowledge.Active NP license with relevant board certification (e.g., family or adult medicine).Experience in acute and chronic healthcare management and emergency procedures.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and correctional-specific healthcare protocols.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and inmates.Ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a high-intensity environment.Resilience and ability to manage stress.Cultural competency to work effectively with diverse patient populations.CertificationsNP with DPSCS ID, EPHRWorking HoursFriday-Sunday (Part -Time)12-hour shifts x 3 weekend shiftsEducationMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.CompensationNegotiableAnticipated Start DateASAPConditions of EmploymentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
