Students may only have 5 open job applications at a time.Work Experience:Entry-Level (Foundational)Work Experience Description:Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.ᅟDepartmentGuest Services - Guides (Tour/Ambassador)Position ScopeProvides guided walking tour in Korean and English or the guest's native language.Assists guests throughout the tour, answering questions whenever possible.Receives guest arrival information and provides initial greeting and orientation.RequirementsMust have a basic knowledge about the various cultural areas encountered during the tour.Requires good health and a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frameMust be capable of a full range of body movement and be capable of moving freely among the guests.Must be able to speak, read and write in English.May be required to be fluent in a designated foreign language.Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.No prior work experience required.Must exemplify the University Honor Code, including the dress and grooming principles and expectations.Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks.Must attach resume and FALL 2025 semester class schedule (WEEKLY VIEW).Work ScheduleTBDAll applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.Approximate starting hourly rate:$14.00 - $16.00The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.ᅟ*Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
