For information on our international network visit www.colas.com.Job Summary* Maintains and repairs equipment, vehicles, and/or facilities used for carrying out the operations.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform major machine and component overhauls.Proficient in Cat ET and SIS, Volvo tech tool, JD LINK and Cummins insight.Diagnose, estimate and complete repairs in the and field.Significant knowledge of Cat rigid frame haul trucks.Shovels, Cat and Hitachi.Must know trucks, backhoes, excavators, pavers, loaders, generators and have welding & electrical skills.Must have own tools.Education* High School diploma, GED or trade school equivalent.* Minimum of three years of heavy equipment mechanic experience.SkillsHelps promote a culture of safety.Must have a CDL and Medical Examiners Card.Must have MSHA certification.Pass pre-employment and random drug tests.Successful completion of physical abilities test.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.Able to work in all weather conditions.Frequently sit, climb, and use their hands.Occasionally be required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.Occasionally lift and move 50 pounds or greater.Colas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
