Instrumentation/Calibration Supervisor (Regulated Industry)

Essential Functions: The incumbent will be directly involved with the management of projects related to Calibration, process optimization, troubleshooting, therefore, responsible for the quality of the product provided to client customersCoaches and supervises direct reports to ensure proper project management and completion of project responsibilities within each customer account Demonstrated experience in leading small to medium projects within the regulated manufacturing industryDetermine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, the quantity of equipment, and the skill of personnelPatrol and monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rulesMonitor employees' work levels and review work performanceExamine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairsParticipate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation, and monitoring departmental expendituresCounsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficienciesRequisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement partsApproves Instrumentation Technician's work orders and timesheets for further management reviewModify program controls; be proficient in analog, digital, and solid-state electronic circuit repairAdvance operation and administration of databases such as LAN, CalPro, Maximo, SAP, Metasys, PLCs, fire, and security systems. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies for area of responsibility. 16. Be knowledgeable of operation and maintenance of CDS installed equipment. 17. Initiate contractor call-in procedures when required to restore building systems. 18. Alert and update designated staff as to current status and prognosis for resumption of normal operationsEnsures compliance with company policies and procedures, site-specific requirements, and adheres to company standards.
