Project Manager – Architectural MillworkEstablished Millwork Company | Full-TimeWe are an established and growing architectural millwork company looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and construction who can manage projects while also understanding the technical side of how cabinets and millwork are designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed.The Project Manager will serve as a key connection between our clients, architects, designers, general contractors, estimators, drafters, shop, and installation teams. You will help take projects from the initial drawings through engineering, fabrication, delivery, and installation, making sure the details are correct and the project continues moving forward.We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically minded, organized, and capable of solving problems. You should be able to look at a set of drawings, understand the design intent, recognize potential issues, and work with the team to determine the best way to build and install the finished product.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple millwork projects from award through completionReview architectural drawings, elevations, details, specifications, and project requirementsCoordinate with architects, designers, general contractors, clients, vendors, and internal teamsReview and help develop cabinet and millwork designs for fabricationWork with our drafting and shop teams to ensure millwork is properly engineered and buildableReview shop drawings and ensure dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details are accurateIdentify potential conflicts or constructability issues before fabricationHelp determine practical solutions for unique or complicated cabinet and millwork conditionsCoordinate field dimensions and site conditions with the project requirementsCommunicate project details and changes clearly to the shop and installation teamsCoordinate materials, hardware, fabrication, delivery, and installationWork directly with installers to resolve field issues and ensure proper installationCoordinate millwork with other trades, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, equipment, and architectural elementsTrack project schedules, deadlines, changes, and important project milestonesAssist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationCommunicate project updates and issues to clients and contractorsReview project changes and determine how they affect fabrication, cost, and installationTroubleshoot problems throughout the project and develop solutions quicklyMaintain organized project files and documentationHelp ensure projects are completed on time, accurately, and to our quality standardsQualifications4+ years of experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, construction, project management, drafting, or a related fieldStrong understanding of cabinet and millwork constructionAbility to read and understand architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detailsAbility to visualize how a design translates into a physical finished productUnderstanding of materials, hardware, cabinet construction, and installation methodsStrong attention to detailExcellent organizational and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesComfortable communicating with contractors, architects, designers, shop personnel, and installersAbility to work independently and take ownership of projectsProficient with computers and willing to learn company-specific software and systemsThe Right CandidateThe ideal candidate understands that successful millwork projects require more than simply managing a schedule.You should be able to bridge the gap between the drawing, the shop, and the jobsite.We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, communicates well, and catches problems before they take place.What We OfferFull-time position with an established and growing millwork companyCompetitive compensation based on experienceVariety of commercial and residential millwork projectsHands-on involvement throughout the entire project lifecycleOpportunity to work closely with experienced fabrication and installation teamsLong-term growth opportunityA key role within an established company where your work directly impacts the success of each projectTo ApplyPlease submit your resume along with a brief description of your experience in millwork, cabinetry, construction, project management, drafting, or cabinet engineering.Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience:Carpentry: 4 years (Required)Work Location: In person - Anaheim, CA
