Full Stack Developer (Independent Visa Only) Hybrid - Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Birmingham, AL; Tallahassee, FL; Alpharetta, GA Long Term Required Skills: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full stack development for agent-facing applications. Familiarity with the auto insurance industry is highly preferred. Proficient in Java and JavaScript, developing in an Agile environment using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology. Experience working with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Strong experience in developing/consuming Web Services (REST, SOAP) and APIs, with exposure to industry-standard models in auto insurance. Proficiency in Angular and Spring Boot frameworks. Experience working with SQL or similar query languages, XML, JSON, and databases like PostgreSQL. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Karma/Jasmine, and Mockito. Experience with cloud-based container technologies such as AWS services and CDN services like Amazon CloudFront. Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, OpenID, and SAML. Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana. Front-end development experience using HTML5, Material/Tailwind CSS, and CSS3 to build responsive applications. Experience with APM tools, performance analysis, and application tuning. Knowledge of the insurance industry and business practices is preferred. Expert in JavaScript frameworks (Angular/TypeScript), NPM, HTML, CSS, Angular CLI, Git, and RxJS. Proficient in Java and the Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. Strong experience with Responsive Web Design, development, debugging, and testing. Solid understanding of testing patterns to support functional and performance testing. Skilled in coding, unit testing, and debugging complex business applications. Capable of writing detailed systems design specifications for complex applications. Ability to develop and refactor clean, well-designed code. Follows industry best practices for development standards. Knowledge of technical controls, security concepts, and SOX requirements.
