Join us and be a part of this exciting alchemy where your talent meets our vision, creating a world of pure chemistry!The Packaging Lead is responsible for overseeing daily packaging line operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role serves as the bridge between frontline associates and supervisors, providing hands-on leadership, coordinating workflows, and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This role is fully on-site in our new Mesa, AZ facility.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and coordinate daily activities of packaging associates on assigned lines or shiftsEnsure production schedules are executed efficiently to meet throughput and delivery targetsMonitor product quality and enforce GMP, SOP, and safety compliance standardsPerform line setup, changeovers, and basic equipment adjustments as neededTroubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalate when necessaryVerify accurate labeling, lot tracking, and packaging documentationTrain and onboard new team members on packaging processes, equipment, and quality expectationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of packaging areasTrack and report production metrics, downtime, and yield performanceCollaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to resolve operational challengesSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteAdditional duties assigned by Production SupervisorREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:High school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operationsPrior experience in a lead or team leadership role preferredFamiliarity with GMP-regulated environments (cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food production strongly preferred)Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to support equipment troubleshootingStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Fast-paced production environment with standing, lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted, and repetitive tasksAbility to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends during peak production or startup phasesComfortable working in manufacturing environments with exposure to chemicals, powders, and equipment noise.Benefits: Life, Dental, Vision, Health, 401k, PTOOur company is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities and embraces diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
