Works under the direction of the PMIS Implementation Manager to support company-wide project management software setup, ongoing system maintenance, PMIS configuration, and project controls readiness aligned with organizational best practices. Responsible for facilitating consistent and accurate implementation of project workflows, documentation structures, and reporting tools across all projects. With interest in data analytics, a desire to learn and apply project controls principles, and a willingness to contribute as a PMIS champion by supporting system use and encouraging consistent adoption across project teams. Work is either office-based or partially remote with no regular job-site presence required.
Duties And Responsibilities
Work closely with the PMIS Implementation Manager to facilitate standardized set-up of new projects across the company
Assist in configuring and maintaining PMIS platforms, ensuring document control workflows, cost structures, schedules, and reporting tools are properly established
Interpret contract documents to support accurate project startup and alignment with procedural requirements
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to establish implementation schedules, reporting templates, and project controls workflows
Assist with implementing cost control tools, budget structures, and tracking methods as directed by the Implementation Manager or project controls team
Prepare and facilitate project kickoff documentation, startup meetings, agendas, and action item tracking
Gather, validate, and organize project startup data to support dashboards, analytics, and reporting
Provide project teams with guidance on PMIS navigation, workflows, and best practices and help promote consistent use of the system
Contribute to ongoing improvements in digital processes, documentation standards, and PMIS configuration
Maintain professional communication with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed for project startup and ongoing support

Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, data science, or related field is required, OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related Technology Certifications and at least 3 years’ related work experience is required
Minimum 1 year of experience or internship in construction management or a related discipline is required
Knowledge And Skills
Advanced computer skills and data management proficiency is required
Working knowledge and experience in Kahua, Procore and similar PMIS platforms is required
Willingness to learn advanced PMIS functions and support consistent system use across projects is required
Understanding of roles and responsibilities between contractor, owner, designer, and construction manager are required
Knowledge of construction cost and document management processes and best practices are required
Effective verbal communication skills, including the ability to foster and maintain effective interpersonal relationships are required
Strong written communication, scheduling, coordination, and documentation skills are required
Ability to train new users of technology, including PMIS platforms is required
Problem-solving skills and the ability to adjust based on user feedback is required
Ability to work with support multiple project teams simultaneously is required

Knowledge of construction processes, workflows, and contract structures is preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred
Experience as an Administrator (Admin Role) of PMIS and data management platforms, such as Kahua, Procore and Power BI is preferred
Interest or foundational experience in data analytics, dashboards, or analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) is preferred
Interest in project controls, including cost, schedule, and performance reporting is preferred
Demonstrated analytical thinking, initiative, teamwork, and follow-through is preferred
License and Certifications
Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) certification is preferred
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions is required
Travel Requirement
Limited travel may be required up to 25% of the time. The ability to drive a motorized vehicle is needed.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general, climate controlled, office environment. Employee will work with team members in various remote locations, which will require constant internet connectivity.
Physical Requirements
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras for virtual communication, photocopiers/scanners, and filing cabinets.
