Position SummaryThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow across receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role serves as a hands-on leader, supporting team productivity, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring adherence to company standards and safety protocols. The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in supporting direct-to-consumer (D2C) fulfillment operations and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inbound OperationsOversee and participate in the unloading of inbound shipmentsVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders, ASNs, and packing listsInspect goods for damage, accuracy, and compliance with requirementsEnsure proper labeling, lot tracking, and system receipt (WMS)Coordinate put-away and ensure proper inventory placement Outbound Shipping & FulfillmentPlan, prepare, and oversee outbound shipments (parcel, LTL, FTL)Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and shipped on timeVerify order accuracy, labeling, and documentation before releaseCoordinate carrier pickups and staging of outbound freightTroubleshoot and resolve shipping discrepancies Pick/Pack & D2C Fulfillment SupervisionSupervise daily pick/pack operations for D2C and marketplace orders (Amazon, Walmart, etc.)Ensure order accuracy, packaging standards, and SLA complianceMonitor productivity and optimize workflows for efficiencyTrain team members on proper picking, packing, and quality standardsEnsure proper use of WMS and scanning processes Team Leadership & OperationsLead, train, and motivate warehouse associates and team leadsAssign daily tasks and monitor performance against KPIsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentEnforce company policies, procedures, and safety standardsSupport cross-functional coordination (inventory, purchasing, transportation) Inventory & AccuracySupport cycle counts and inventory auditsEnsure proper lot control, FIFO/FEFO practices where applicableInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate system records and reporting Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies and recommend process improvementsSupport implementation of SOPs and operational best practicesAssist in scaling operations as volume growsQualifications2–3+ years of warehouse or fulfillment experience (3PL preferred)1+ years in a lead or supervisory roleExperience with D2C fulfillment and pick/pack operationsFamiliarity with WMS systemsStrong understanding of shipping methods (parcel, LTL, FTL)Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStanding, walking, bending for extended periodsComfortable working in a warehouse environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with e-commerce fulfillment in a warehouse environmentKnowledge of lot control and regulated goods (if applicable)Forklift certificationSuccess Metrics (KPIs)Order accuracy rateOn-time shipment performanceReceiving accuracy and turnaround timePick/pack productivityInventory accuracyE04JI802rsbh409685h
