Job Title: Registered NurseJob DescriptionThe Research Clinic Nurse ensures safe and accurate screening, enrollment, and assessment of clinical trial participants in compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. This role supports the integrity of research data and participant well-being by performing thorough medical evaluations, managing informed consent processes, and delivering high-quality care throughout the study lifecycle.Responsibilities+ Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial study participants and sponsors.+ Verify participant identification prior to all study procedures.+ Complete Informed Consent processes with potential study participants, including answering study-related questions and ensuring understanding of Informed Consent documents.+ Collect information for the documentation of inclusion/exclusion criteria including demographics, medication, and medical history.+ Review all relevant study-related materials including Informed Consent, Protocol, and Source Documents, and acknowledge understanding of study materials as directed by clinic regulatory requirements.+ Complete protocol-specific documentation in paper and digital sources using ALCOA documentation principles.+ Assist in protocol-required procedures, including vital signs and ECG measurements as necessary.+ Assess and document changes to participant health as applicable per protocol using site SOPs and GCPs.+ Monitor study participants during and after protocol-specific treatments, provide medical intervention as directed, and document all actions using ALCO documentation principles.+ Train study participants on protocol-specific education and documentation materials.+ Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service and quality within the department.+ Proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to the department manager.+ Check and respond to all forms of clinical communication in a timely and professional manner.+ Manage study follow-ups and assess any changes to health.Essential Skills+ 1+ years of experience working in healthcare or clinic setting.+ 1+ years of clinical research experience required.+ Graduate from an accredited Nursing program with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree.+ Licensed Practical Nurse required.+ Registered Nurse preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ ACRP certification is a plus.+ BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.+ ACLS obtained within 6 months of employment.Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clinic setting in Lenexa, KS. The position is part of an effort to build an overnight PRN Medical Licensed Professionals Pool. Studies are expected to continue until Quarter 4.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
