We work across predominantly in the technology sectors, in sport, health, fashion, retail and more — delivering memorable digital experiences for global clients.We're growing our US presence and looking for a USA Eastern and Central Time Zones based Senior Digital Designer / Client Partner to be the creative and commercial face of the agency in North America.The RoleThis is a senior, outward-facing role sitting at the intersection of creative leadership, client management, and new business development.You'll lead design work, own key client relationships, and play an active role in identifying and converting new opportunities — working directly with clients from first brief through to final delivery.Critically, this role is for someone who has been a designer. You bring craft credibility and practical process knowledge, while confidently operating in a client-facing, growth-oriented capacity.You'll have direct access to our Melbourne and European design teams, and collaborate with a globally distributed studio of designers, strategists and creatives.What you will do: Lead and deliver high-quality digital design across brand, product and visual communicationsOwn key US client relationships — trusted, long-term, commercially mindedIdentify growth opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to new business developmentPitch and present creative concepts directly to clientsTranslate briefs into strong creative direction and oversee execution with internal and freelance teamsManage scope, timelines and budgets across multiple concurrent projectsProvide creative leadership and mentorship across the studioEngage and manage freelance designers and developers as neededNote: As part of a global team spanning Melbourne, Europe and the US, there will occasionally be after-hours executive meetings to accommodate time zones.What you bring: 5+ years' experience in digital designA strong portfolio demonstrating digital, web and UX/UI workProven experience working directly with clients in an agency environmentConfident leading client conversations and presenting creative workCommercially minded — you understand how great design drives business outcomesProficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Keynote)Curious about emerging technology — AI tooling experience is a strong advantageOrganised, calm under pressure, and accountable across multiple projectsWhy Charles ElenaWork on globally recognised projects across multiple industries and regionsCollaborative, ambitious and high-performing team cultureClear leadership and career progression pathwayTraining support and ongoing skills developmentCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)This is a role for someone who wants to shape work, shape relationships, and help grow the agency — not just execute briefs.To apply: Upload resume and portfolio (and be sure to include the written links to your folio).See our work at charleselena.com
