System Validation Engineer

Responsible for SoC and E2E system validation plan development and execution Develop FW tooling for debug and validationUnderstand system HW/SW/FW components as a whole and perform test execution and debuggingPower and performance characterization on pre-silicon platforms and post-silicon validation boardsCreate diagnostic and validation tools to test firmware functionality, performance, and reliabilityAble to work in an agile environment, adapt to changing roadmaps, and adapt validation plans based on changes.Skills:Hands-on experience in bring-up and validation of complex SoCs. 3+ years of embedded systems or firmware development experienceExperience in scripting languages like Python preferred; ability to read and debug FW/ BareMetal code in C, high level of proficiency in C (preferred) Familiarity with firmware testing frameworks and automation, proficiency with JTAG debuggers Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues[Preferred] Knowledge and experience with pre-silicon validation platforms (e.g., FPGAs and emulators).[Preferred] Proficient in lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, Good verbal and written communication skills.
