Company DescriptionFoundation Personnel, a specialist recruitment partner to the geotechnical and foundations sector, is working with one of North America’s leading design-build contractors to appoint a talented Design Engineer.Role DescriptionThis is an opportunity to move into (or further develop within) a design-build environment, working on technically challenging ground improvement and geostructural projects across major infrastructure and commercial schemes.Whether you’re currently in consultancy looking to get closer to delivery, or already working within a foundations contractor, this role offers exposure to innovative solutions, fast-paced project cycles, and real engineering impact.You’ll be part of a highly experienced engineering team, delivering practical and efficient designs within a collaborative, design-build setting.Key responsibilities include:Producing engineering designs and analyses for ground improvement and geostructural worksSupporting design-build project delivery from concept through to executionDeveloping project-specific quality and design processesContributing to tenders, client meetings, and technical presentationsQualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)2–3 years’ experience in geotechnical / geostructural designBackground in either:Consultancy (geotechnical design), or Foundations / ground engineering contractor environmentExposure to design-build projects is highly advantageousProfessional Engineer (PE) status (or working towards)If this role is of interest or you want to know more, please reach out!
