By supporting artists and public art installations, AILF contributes to the revitalization and cultural enrichment of Kansas City.Role DescriptionArt in the Loop Foundation is seeking two part-time Visual & Performing Arts Interns to join its team on-site in Kansas City, MO. In this role, interns will assist in planning and executing public art and performing arts projects, coordinating events, and maintaining project schedules. Responsibilities include project research, artist liaison support, logistical coordination of art installations and performances, and assisting with documentation and promotion of events through social media and other channels. Interns will also collaborate with the team on community outreach to engage diverse audiences in art initiatives.QualificationsStrong organizational, project management, and time management skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skillsCreative problem-solving, adaptability, and a passion for visual and performing artsProficiency in social media platforms, content creation, and digital mediaExperience with event planning, community engagement, or arts-focused projects is a plusA demonstrated commitment to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in the artsEnrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Arts Administration, or a related field.Visit https://www.artintheloop.com to learn more.
