The company values team culture, professional development, and internal promotion, with a strong track record of developing leaders within the organization.**Hybrid schedule of 4 days in office, Fridays remote**Position OverviewThe Accounting Manager will serve as a key member of the corporate accounting team and will report directly to the Corporate Controller. This role will partner closely with the Assistant Controller and oversee core accounting functions including month-end close activities, fixed assets, accruals, and financial reporting.This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who understands the full close process, enjoys problem solving in a dynamic environment, and can quickly step in to support a growing organization. The role will also provide mentorship to senior accountants and contribute to building scalable accounting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingOversee fixed assets accounting, including tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and reporting for a large asset baseManage accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger activitiesReview and approve prepaid expenses and related accounting entriesSupport accounts receivable activities and ensure accurate reporting of receivable balancesPerform P&L analysis and provide insights on variances and financial performancePrepare and distribute quarterly reporting packages, ensuring compliance with lease reporting requirementsPartner with the Assistant Controller to compile and distribute required financial reports to stakeholdersEnsure accuracy and completeness of balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with annual audit supportWork within NetSuite ERP to maintain and improve accounting processesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and help advance the team toward more automated and systematic processesMentor and support Senior Accountants and staff accountants, helping them develop professionally while maintaining a positive team cultureQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required5–6+ years of accounting experiencePrior public accounting experience is a plus2+ years of industry accounting experience preferredStrong understanding of month-end close processes and general ledger accountingExperience with fixed assets accounting preferredExperience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferredSolid understanding of technical accounting and GAAP principlesDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience mentoring or guiding junior team members preferredCulture & Growth OpportunityThis role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team with strong leadership and a positive culture.
