Position SummaryDelva Tool & Machine is seeking a Software Developer I or II who enjoys solving real-world operational challenges through software, automation, data integration, and emerging AI technologies. You'll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Executive Leadership to develop solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across our manufacturing environment.  What You'll DoDesign, develop, test, and maintain internal software applications and business systemsBuild tools that support CNC machining, production scheduling, quality management, and operational reportingDevelop integrations between shop floor systems, ERP platforms, quality systems, and business applicationsWrite clean, maintainable code using technologies such as Python, C#, JavaScript, SQL, and related development frameworksTroubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutionsCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsDevelop dashboards, reporting tools, and data pipelines that provide actionable business insightsSupport cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance requirements within a regulated manufacturing environmentParticipate in AI-enabled development initiatives, automation projects, and future predictive analytics effortsWhat We're Looking ForSoftware Developer I:1–3 years of software development experience (internships included)Experience with one or more modern programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or SQLStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environmentSoftware Developer II:3–5 years of professional software development experienceExperience designing and implementing business-critical applicationsBackground with system integrations, APIs, databases, and enterprise softwareAbility to manage projects and work independently with minimal supervisionExperience mentoring junior developers is a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP, MES, manufacturing, or industrial software systemsFamiliarity with API development and database designUnderstanding of data analytics, reporting tools, and business intelligence conceptsExposure to AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or automation technologiesKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulated environmentsExperience working within manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industries is highly desirableBenefits & PerksOur comprehensive benefits package includes, but is not limited to, a competitive pay rate between $50,000-$110,000/year, depending on experience, accrued vacation time, 10 paid holidays annually, 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance as well as Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and life/AD&D insurance.
