If you’re looking for a rewarding career where you can lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact every day, we’d love to meet you!We offer our staff:Monthly Staff Appreciation Events: Celebrating our staff's hard work and dedication with parties, giveaways, and prizes.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Including health, dental, and vision insurance to support our employees' well-being.Retirement Savings Plan: Offering a 401K plan for long-term financial security.Shift Differentials: Providing additional compensation for evening, night, and weekend shifts.DailyPay Option: Offering flexibility with daily access to earned wages.Essential Functions:Under the supervision of the Dietitian, the Certified Dietary Manager will assist in initial data collection and/or screening process for participant nutrition assessments.Assist with the implementation of individualized plan of care for participants as assigned by the RDN.Complete, document, and report to Dietitian and/or Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), results of observations of participants’ specific assigned monitoring activities such as: meal intake, weight, food records, etc.Process new participant diet orders and all ongoing diet order changes by updating all required center databases and communicate this with all relevant staff to ensure accurate and timely dietary compliance is maintained for each participant.Meet with participants and families to address food and nutritional concerns, provide education as needed.Proactively, and immediately communicates to the Dietitian any shared concerns and/or issues from participants and center staff.Reviews center meal service, textured modified diets, thickened liquids, supplements, meal intake documentation, food allergies, and hydration with new employees and on as needed basis.Reviews new participant dietary needs with dayroom staff monthly and as needed.Attends and participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings as needed.Maintains communication with participant and caregivers in respect to the established nutrition intervention plan of care goals and verifies implementation.Monitors and reports participants status changes as observed that may influence the plan of care (i.e.-participant’s weight, intake sheets, etc.).Assists in developing dietary policies and procedures, monitor quality of food, ensure food is served at appropriate temperatures, and administer participant satisfaction surveys.Provide assistance with preparation of meals as needed.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Certified Dietary Manager ProgramSuccessful completion of the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) ExamMinimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare food service settingTwo (2) years experience working with frail or elderly populations preferredServSafe Certification preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to lead and manage dietary staff effectivelyKnowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationsCompassionate and resident-focused approach to careEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERThe Facility is an equal opportunity employer.
