Online Gifted Math Coach for Contest Prep
You've mastered challenging problems. Now apply that expertise where it matters most: equipping gifted students to compete, advance, and succeed.
GT School serves families seeking more than satisfactory report cards. We develop gifted learners through genuine competition: national and international contests, documented results, and accomplishments students can leverage going forward. This position exists because our mathematics program succeeds only when students emerge from sessions more capable, more confident, and prepared for competitive environments.
This is not a standard tutoring position. You will lead live online workshops designed to challenge exceptional students, provide focused contest preparation for competitions such as AMC and AIME, and develop reusable curriculum that elevates standards across GT Anywhere and GT campus locations. If you excel at converting natural ability into documented achievement and can communicate complex concepts with precision, this role will suit you.
If you possess a verified record of mathematical excellence and wish to help develop the next generation of champions, we invite your application.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and conduct 2–4 live online domain workshops weekly that cultivate competition-level mathematical reasoning
Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching for specific competitions using practice exams, timed exercises, and thorough analysis
Identify weaknesses quickly and build customized development plans aligned with each student's objectives and contest schedule
Monitor advancement using a defined mathematics progression framework and modify instruction according to data
Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials that other teachers can deploy at scale
What You Won't Be Doing
Provide general homework assistance or grade-focused tutoring lacking clear, quantifiable results
Conduct conventional classroom-format lessons that remain within standard curriculum boundaries
Offer unstructured problem sessions with no strategy, no assessment mechanism, and no competitive pathway
Rely on borrowed or low-quality materials that fail to meet competitive mathematics standards
Gifted Math Coach Key Responsibilities
This role ensures gifted students regularly achieve documented, competition-level mathematics outcomes that GT School can recognize and families can rely upon.

Availability for 5–10 hours weekly
Dependable internet connection and professional video equipment
Nice-to-have Requirements
