Full Stack Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full-Stack Software Engineer for one of our clients in Detroit, Michigan.Rate Range: $52.00/hour to $55.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.This role is 4 days in-office and 1 day work-from-home.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fun, highly collaborative environment where you will be constantly learning and expanding your knowledge base.Ideal candidate will have experience with the following:5+ years of experience as a Java software engineer.Spring platform, especially Spring Boot and creating microservices from scratch.Cloud native development on the Google Cloud Platform and its various tools like CloudRun, BigQuery, etc.Developing front-end components with Angular, preferably version 16 and up.Traditional and NoSQL databases.Continuous Integration tools including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks, especially JUnit.Continuous Delivery process refinement and tool sets such as Jenkins.Strong SQL database skills.Highly preferred:Experience with Apigee and PostGres SQL.Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) methodology.Experience developing and working with AI tools.Please note, we cannot work on C2C basis for this role.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
