Hiring a Part-Time (20 hours/week) Administrative / Consumer Assistant
Summary: This position is responsible for providing support to the CAC Team and to victim families, including scheduling, documentation, client records maintenance and communications.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.
1. Maintain strict standards of confidentiality;
2. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of policies and procedures to assist in a coordinated response to all CAC calls regarding reports of child maltreatment;
3. Make initial contact with victim/family on arrival to CAC, ensure necessary documentation is collected and entered into appropriate database(s);
4. May provide child supervision during CAC visit;
5. Provide information about CAC services to child victims and families and assist families in accessing services and referrals recommended by the CAC;
6. Create and maintain case files and ensure that all appropriate data is entered
7. Provide support to the CAC team by facilitating a safe, comfortable and confidential environment for exchange of information and provision of services;
8. Assist the CAC team with Protected Health Information, general communication and documentation, and evidentiary record keeping;
9. Responsible for billing of medical services when appropriate;
10. Responsible for No Hit Zone service and needs;
11. Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
OR a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Pay range:
$22.00 - $25.00 hourly
