Our home office is located in St. Louis, Missouri with our Center of Excellence Raw Food kitchens in Lincoln, Nebraska.Instinct® is part of the family-owned group, Agrolimen, who owns leading pet food and human food businesses in the US, China, Europe, and Africa.Position Summary: This position is responsible for leading the day to day activities of coordinating storage and shipment of Instinct manufactured products and ingredients. This includes managing the creation and loading of full trucks to ship to 3PL in Elwood, KS. Additionally, will support raw material flow coming from inbound trucks. Inventory accuracy and efficient management of outbound finished goods and inbound raw materials are key components of this role.Primary Job Responsibilities: Build full truckloads to ship to 3PL, including accurate data entry for inventory transactionsLoad and ship trailers as well as unload and receive trailers as neededMonitor, maintain, and ensure accurate product temperatures Assist in completion of continuous improvement ideas including submission, planning, follow throughNotify Warehouse Manager and Quality Assurance of any quality issuesOperate forklifts and pallet jacksMonitor and maintain continuous inventory accuracy through physical countsCommunicate with various co-workers and outside companies via phone, email, and in personRelocate trailers to and from dock doors as neededMaintain general housekeeping of warehouseOther duties as assignedPersonal Attributes:Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet the needs of the businessMust be able to work flexible hours between 2 shifts as neededMust be available to work Saturdays when neededMust be available to adapt to change and mobilize to achieve company goals and objectivesStrong safety focusDevelop relationships through the teamAbility to deal with ambiguityAbility to execute in a timely mannerPreferred ExperienceHigh school diploma or its equivalencyExperience working with an ERP systemExperience in driving a forkliftProficiency with Microsoft Office softwarePhysical Requirements:Must be able to drive lift truck and maintain lift truck operator’s licenseMust be able to lift to 50 lbsFrequent squatting, kneeling, stooping, and bendingTravel Requirements: Travel between RPC and Dry Warehouse as neededCompensation: Competitive compensation package including base salary, and bonus potential.
