Travel Medical-Surgical RN in Ballwin, MO

Deliver expert nursing care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical at a premier hospital located in Ballwin, MO. This travel assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic neurological and med-surg inpatient setting. The role includes day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring commitment to 13 weeks with flexible guaranteed hours of either 36 or 48 per week. Weekend shifts are scheduled every other weekend, with no on-call duties.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care for med-surg patients, utilizing the nursing process from assessment through evaluation.Coordinate interdisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes and comfort.Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and organizational standards.Assist with patient mobility including bending, lifting, and repositioning as needed.Adapt to physical demands and safety protocols including exposure to blood and body fluids.Float to similar or lower acuity units when necessary.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse license valid in Missouri or eligible for licensure.Minimum of 1 year of inpatient Medical-Surgical nursing experience.Preferred experience in neurological nursing.BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).ACLS certification from AHA is preferred.Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.Location Highlights: Ballwin, MO, is part of the greater St. Louis metropolitan area, offering a vibrant mix of cultural attractions and recreational activities.
