We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and professional growth of our team.Job Description:JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic (Electrician) to support Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE) and warehouse electrical systems maintenance at the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), Cheatham Annex. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. The incumbent will perform electrical maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation on a variety of equipment associated with Expeditionary Medical Systems (EXMEDS) and Civil Engineering Equipment programs.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsEducation:* High School Diploma or equivalentExperience:* Minimum five (5) years of experience as an ElectricianRequired Certifications:* Certification as a Journeyman or Master ElectricianOther Requirements:Valid U.S. driver's licenseAbility to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)Must be a U.S. citizenAbility to pass background investigationMust complete required DoD/BUMED IT security trainingEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance:Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on electrical systems and equipmentInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixturesTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctionsEnsure all electrical work complies with applicable codes and standardsPerform electrical inspections and testing on CEE equipmentSupport power generation and power distribution systems for EXMEDS platformsCEE Support:Support maintenance of Civil Engineering End Items (CEEI) with electrical componentsPerform Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) on electrical equipmentGenerate Equipment Repair Orders (EROs) for annotating all equipment discrepanciesPerform operational tests of generators, power distribution systems, and other electrical equipmentSupport preparation of electrical equipment for shipment via air or surfaceDocumentation & Records:Enter all maintenance actions into DMLSS Equipment & Technology Management (E&TM) Module or other government databases as directedMaintain equipment history jackets for each piece of electrical equipmentDocument worker time on equipment within each work orderScan and electronically attach supporting documentation to work ordersMaintain calibration certificates and maintenance recordsSafety & Compliance:Comply with all fire, security, and safety regulations (OSHA, CFR)Follow proper procedures for electrical safety and lockout/tagoutReport accidents/mishaps and property damage to COR/ACOR immediatelyMaintain required certifications and trainingRequired Skills and CompetenciesAbility to diagnose and repair electrical system malfunctionsKnowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practicesAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprintsAbility to read, interpret, and apply reference materials such as manufacturer manuals, regulations, catalogs, records, and ordersAbility to read and speak the English language with correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and formatProficiency in US standard office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems)Strong ethical principles and customer service skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsLight to moderate physical effort requiredWalking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving itemsLifting and carrying items over 45 lbsWork is performed on hard surfacesSecurity Clearance:Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
