Salary: Pay Based on ExperienceConstruction SuperintendentRKE Contractors is looking to hire a traveling Construction Superintendent to work on Heavy Civil Federal projects.Job Type:Full Time, In-PersonPay:Pay is Based on ExperienceJob Tasks:The Superintendents job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Project Management:Manage and oversee the projectDevelop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project management teamEnsure project milestones and deadlines are met by effectively coordinating resources, materials, and equipmentMonitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures, as neededTeam Supervision and Leadership:Provide strong leadership and direction to construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans, safety guidelines, and quality standardsFoster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, open communication, and professional developmentResolve conflicts or issues that may arise among team members, subcontractors, or stakeholdersSafety and Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all construction activities are carried out in compliance with federal regulations, building codes, and safety standardsImplement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Quality Assurance and DocumentationEnsure that all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with project specificationsConduct regular inspections and quality control checks to identify and rectify any deficiencies or deviations from project plansDocument project activities, progress, and issues, maintaining accurate records and reports for internal and external stakeholdersSuperintendent Requirements:10 Years of experience managing constructionMust have a minimum of 5 years experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects.Must be capable of interpreting a Critical Path Schedule and construction drawings.Must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and OSHAMust have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety complianceExperience with DoD/USACE/NAVFAC is preferredProficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, PROCORE, P6, and RMS.Superintendent Training Requirements (Must Provide Proof of Completion):OSHA 30First Aid and CPR Certification
