Regular Day Assembler
The Assembler will perform tasks that are necessary for the production process. This position aids in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products.
Wear proper PPE at all times on shop floor and follow all safety protocols and procedures
Use tools to make or repair parts and products
Measuring tools (tape measures, dial calipers)
Cutting torches and grinders
Band saws and bundle saws
Manual radial drills and hand drills
Hot saws
Threading machines
Pressure vacuum pumps
Interpret technical documents, such as schematics and blueprints
Operate forklift and overhead crane occasionally
Push, pull and roll tubes
Occasionally perform some MIG and TIG welding
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills and abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be a highly safety-oriented individual
Some experience of drilling and tapping preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability and willingness to follow directions
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Verbal communication skills
1 year shell and tube bundle assembly preferred
Physical requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, etc. Work environment may include high noise areas, working at heights, confined spaces, congested work sites, shift work, duration rotations, shop setting, etc.
