Job Title: Counter Sales RepresentativeDepartment: Parts DepartmentReports To: Parts ManagerESSENTIAL, DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers who either visit the dealership or call by maintaining familiarity with all inventory products and merchandising programs; parts inventory and ordering systems; utilized and maintain parts technical resources with the most current information; and dealership credit policies.Acknowledge customers as soon as possible.Answering incoming calls, interacting professionally with walk in customersMake outgoing phone calls to customers, to keep good customer relations.utilizing computer business systems and electronic catalogues to search partsprovide parts invoices and obtain paymentProcess returned items by inspecting items, returning payment, issuing credits, re-shelving items and returning items to suppliers.maintain an attractive parts retail display areaenhance job knowledge by continually participating in online training modules and supplier training on new productsMARGINAL DUTIES include the following.
