Job Description Position Name: RN TELE Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Contract Unit: TELE Position Requirements: Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2 years – Required Prior Travel experience – Highly preferred Education, License and Certification Requirements: ASN or an equivalent – Required BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred RN License for State of NV - Required BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required TNCC, NIHSS – Highly preferred Job Description: Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in Med Surg units. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Med Surg as directed by nursing management. Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies and professional organizations. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the safety of nursing care they deliver or supervise. Being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and Evaluation Safely and accurately administer medications Participate in patient and family teaching Records information concisely, accurately and completely. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
