Product Manager, Event Management & Intelligence (AI)A fast-growing space technology company developing next-generation mission management and command and control software is seeking a Product Manager to lead the evolution of its Event Management and Intelligence capabilities, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning.In this role, you will define how mission events are captured, processed, and translated into actionable insights across satellite operations. You will help operators move from raw telemetry and system signals to clear, contextualized decision-making, improving response times and enabling more autonomous operations.You will own key parts of the product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable, intelligent solutions for complex, real-time mission environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the product roadmap for event management, including real-time event processing, alerting, anomaly detection, and AI-driven insightsTranslate operator needs into product requirements, user stories, and scalable featuresWork closely with engineering to deliver capabilities such as event ingestion, filtering, correlation, visualization, and workflow integrationImprove signal-to-noise ratio, reduce alert fatigue, and enable faster root-cause analysis for mission operatorsDesign and guide AI-driven features that are transparent, explainable, and trusted by usersDefine and track key performance metrics such as detection accuracy, alert latency, and response timesConduct user research and engage directly with operators to deeply understand workflows and pain pointsCollaborate cross-functionally across product, engineering, design, and customer teamsIdeal BackgroundExperience in product management, ideally within SaaS, AI/ML, or complex technical environmentsExposure to event-driven systems, real-time data pipelines, observability platforms, or AI/ML applicationsStrong understanding of how to translate technical systems into user-focused product experiencesProven ability to own and deliver product features end-to-endStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsDegree in engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher preferred)Why This RoleOpportunity to shape how AI is applied in real-world mission-critical environmentsWork on problems where signal vs. noise directly impacts operational successHelp drive the transition from manual monitoring to automated and autonomous mission operationsJoin a fast-paced, high-ownership environment building technology at the forefront of the space industry
