Title: Financial Analyst (IT) Pay: $48-$53 per hour DOE Type: Hybrid Bellevue Washington 98004Duration: 12 months Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Financial Management (ITFM) Analyst to support the acquisition and financial management of technology goods and services. This role focuses on cost optimization, vendor contract renewals, budget tracking, and procurement operations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.The position will backfill daily operational responsibilities for a senior ITFM analyst assigned to strategic project work. This engagement is expected to last at least one year.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Budget AnalysisPartner with IT and Finance teams to track technology budgets and spending. Develop financial forecasts and analyze cost trends. Identify cost-saving opportunities across hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, telecom, and mobile services. Maintain financial controls and ensure budget adherence. Vendor & Contract Renewal ManagementTrack IT contracts, renewals, and licensing agreements. Ensure accurate pricing, compliance, and timely vendor negotiations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage vendor relationships. Procurement & Accounting SupportManage procurement lifecycle activities including: Quote acquisition and negotiation support Requisition creation Supplier documentation management Validate invoices and perform financial reconciliation activities. Support accounting functions such as: Journal entries Accruals Amortization schedules Financial research and reporting Process ImprovementAnalyze procurement and financial data to improve sourcing workflows. Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements. Ensure adherence to company procurement and financial policies. Team Overview – IT Financial Management (ITFM)The ITFM team is responsible for enterprise planning and financial oversight of:Hardware and software maintenance Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Cloud services Telecommunications and mobile expenses The team manages end-to-end procurement and financial operations, including supplier collaboration, negotiation, invoice processing, reconciliation, forecasting, and policy compliance.Required QualificationsExperience in IT Financial Management, Procurement, Finance, or Technology Operations Strong understanding of IT spend categories (hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, telecom) Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Knowledge of accounting concepts such as accruals, journal entries, and amortization Vendor management and contract renewal experience Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and vendors Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise IT procurement environments Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems Background working within regulated or policy-driven organizations Process improvement or workflow optimization experience Why JoinHigh-impact role supporting enterprise technology financial operations Opportunity to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency Collaborative hybrid work environment
